As a GTS Group Customer Service Consultant

typical tasks will include but not be limited to:

1. General flight reservations
2. Direct sales
3. Reservations & Fare information
4. Baggage claims
5. Online booking and travel agent support.

You will answer in-bound telephone calls, and handle special service requests. These functions are performed with the support of a strong team and backed by our advanced and well-maintained technical infrastructure. Our operation runs on a 24 hour flexible shift rotation, 7 days a week for 365 days a year.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

Successful completion of secondary education ("Matric, Matura, Abitur, A-Levels, BAC")
Computer literacy and keyboard proficiency
Exceptional Service and Sales Orientation
Flexibility to work shifts
Ability to work in a team
Bi-lingual Fluency in one of the specified languages (German, Hebrew or Dutch) as well as English.

Fluent German speakers, may also be considered for
Global Load Control (GLC) positions.

The main duty of a GLC agent is determining the centre of gravity of a plane upon departure and ensuring that this is within safe limits.

In doing so, a GLC agent is responsible for the processing of flights, including:

Weight and Balance calculations
Giving Loading instructions to ground crew
Releasing the final load and trim sheet before departure.

All candidates considered for both the Customer Service Consultant and Global Load Control positions will receive full day (meaning every day) training over a 6 week period. This training occurs "in-house" and on the floor and candidates will be paid a full salary from the start of training.

As well as a basic salary, additional benefits include employee flight discounts, provident fund, life insurance and disability cover, 2/3rds company contribution to medical aid and a parking allowance.

Note for foreign candidates: GTS will gladly assist you with your corporate work permit.
