position as a Site Construction Manager
for an international firm at a work site located
in Iraq. The basic qualifications for this
position are as follows: BS in Civil or
Mechanical Engineering, at least ten
years relevant experience in
construction (including previous extensive site
management responsibility), and reciprocating
engine experience. The successful candidate will
be responsible for contract compliance and all
other aspects of the site from initial turnover
to project close-out. Major responsibilities
include project budget, schedule, safety, problem
resolution, and compliance with all corporate
procedures and policies. Previous international
experience, local language abilities, and
registration as a Professional Engineer are
considered to be pluses.
The actual pay rate is dependent on relevant
experience and demonstrated personnel skill sets.
In addition to normal pay scales an
uplift of approximately 100% will be paid while
in Iraq. Camp style housing and food
will be provided in a secure living area while in
country. The client will provide paid
transportation to and from the site for this
position. Two weeks R and R will be provided
every 120 days and you may have the opportunity
for additional overseas work. Excellent benefits
