position as a Site Construction Manager
for an international firm at a work site located
in Iraq. The basic qualifications for this
position are as follows: BS in Civil or
Mechanical Engineering, at least ten
years relevant experience in
construction (including previous extensive site
management responsibility), and reciprocating
engine experience. The successful candidate will
be responsible for contract compliance and all
other aspects of the site from initial turnover
to project close-out. Major responsibilities

The actual pay rate is dependent on relevant

country. The client will provide paid
transportation to and from the site for this
position. Two weeks R and R will be provided

Maintains and updates subcontractors' files to
include records of payment.
Performs subcontract closeout actions, completes
file documentation, and forwards subcontract
files to storage. Ensures retention of hard copy
of reports and claims for seven years.
Serves as liaison between subcontractor and
procurement personnel.
Performs other responsibilities associated with
this position as may be appropriate.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
4-year degree in Business Administration (or
related field) and 3-5 years of related work
experience involving typical procurement
activities, including subcontracting.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Must have experience with government regulations
including FAR.A working knowledge of
subcontracting activities typical to the
engineering and construction industry is
required. In addition, excellent written and oral
communications skills, a working knowledge of PC
software packages typically associated with
