WORK EXPERIENCE

Aug 2000 - June 2005 Served as Specialist in the United States Army
  • Honorable discharge with the rank of Spc.
  • Primary specialty was Motor Transport Operator.  
  • Experienced in operating equipment of all sizes and purposes.
  • Also received driver's badge for miles driven/ missions completed without an accident.
  • Completed driver accident avoidance program.
  • Served overseas during OIF in Kuwait from Jan. 13 2003 to July 13 2003 and in OIF2 from February 14 2004 to February 11 2005 in Iraq.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and readiness of numerous vehicles and pieces of equipment as well as weapons and ammunition.
  • Completed long transport missions all throughout Iraq and Kuwait moving supplies/equipment which were vital to missions during OIF2.  
  • Developed very good verbal communication skills, physical as well as mental strength, excellent work habits with or without consistent supervision or the help of a team,
  • Proven ability to work and be successful in a stressful environment and in dangerous conditions.
