This is a position as a Trainer for a large international firm at work sites located in Iraq. The basic qualifications for this position are as follows:

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required, Apprenticeship and/or a BS in a technical discipline is preferred,

• at least three to five years of previous training experience and demonstrated technical competence in teaching basic electrical skills, plumbing, carpentry, computer training, safety, and quality control. Additional requirements are the ability to develop and deliver video, computer, and presentation training materials to multicultural customers as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous international experience and local language abilities are not necessary but are considered a plus.
  
  The actual pay rate is dependent on relevant experience and demonstrated personnel skill sets. In addition to normal pay scales an uplift (100% plus) will be paid while in Iraq. The successful candidate will be paid for a 40 hour week even if some overtime work is necessary. Camp style housing and food will be provided in a secure living area while in country. benefits including medical insurance, vacation, holidays, 401 K, and paid transportation to an from the site are provided for this position. Employer is seeking Information Services Technicians to work in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa and support local operations/contracts.

Primary Responsibilities:
Technicians are responsible for maintaining and evaluating computer equipment and communication networks. They test and monitor equipment to ensure proper performance, isolate and repair malfunctions, provide technical guidance, maintain records of equipment failures, and coordinate preventive maintenance and/or corrective programs with vendor service personnel.

Specific assignments may involve but are not limited to the following disciplines:

Qualifications:
International experience preferred. experience in the construction of high to medium voltage substations is needed. Work requires independent evaluation, selection, and modification of standard techniques and procedures.
